Lyrics
Those who hope in the Lord
Will renew their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles
Run and never grow weary
[Chorus]
Wings like eagles (wings like eagles)
Jesus lifts me up
Wings like eagles (wings like eagles)
Jesus lifts me up
[Verse]
I will soar (wings like eagles)
I will run (and not grow weary)
I will walk (and not be faint)
Jesus is my strength
[Chorus]
Wings like eagles (wings like eagles)
Jesus lifts me up
Wings like eagles (wings like eagles)
Jesus lifts me up
[verse]
I don't hold on, I just receive
My weakness for His strength
The young grow tired, the strong will fall
But Jesus never fails
Those who hope in the Lord
Will renew their strength
They will soar on wings like eagles
Run and never grow weary
[Chorus]
Wings like eagles (wings like eagles)
Jesus lifts me up
Wings like eagles (wings like eagles)
Jesus lifts me up
[Outro]
Jesus is my strength (wings like eagles)
Jesus is my strength (wings like eagles)
I will soar, I will soar (wings like eagles)
📖 THE BIBLE
"Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will
soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they
will walk and not be faint." — Isaiah 40:30-31
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in
weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9
Notice the order in Isaiah: soar, then run, then walk. The quiet
walking comes last — because the hardest kind of strength isn't the
flying, it's the keeping going. And none of it is ours to make. We
don't hold on; we receive. 💛
